Republicans are thankful “not just for the relationship that Donald Trump has with Elon Musk” but for the president leading America “to a new golden age,” says Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas.

“I’ve been in government for 27 years as the head of government operations for government reform and oversight. I can tell you that we saw in hearings last year where the GAO, the Government Accounting Office, talked about there being $1.7 trillion worth of fraud, waste, and abuse that that you could point at,” Sessions said Saturday during an appearance on Newsmax’s “The Count.”

“So this is where Elon Musk is shocking people by bringing high-level people to the table — not just computer experts, but people who will look into databases, running totals, looking at things and actual bills. This is something that has been impossible the last four years under Joe Biden.
